Mentoring Creatives to Accelerate their Transition into Performance
With her career spanning 3 decades with Small & Medium Businesses to Fortune 1000s, Kathy has focused on adapting new processes within organizations to enable them to reach greater revenues and minimize expenses, but ultimately her passion is helping creatives find passion in their work again. She will work side-by-side with you to co-create a plan to take you from disorganized to organized.
My Story
Well before obtaining her B.A. in Organization Studies, and M.B.A. in Executive Business Management, plus multiple certificates in information processes, Kathy grew up around a small business, a family business that started in 1977.
"The love of (the) business is grounded in my DNA, from a lemonade stand in grade school to creating my own spreadsheets by hand to track fish (before personal computers), and in middle school, I ran a small business for my father managing the stock and sales for his Cambridge Shakes business. This grounded my love for managing efficiencies, I became fascinated with the efficiencies of inventory and accounting.
It was in the 1980s, I got a start in the family business, and although my career took me into corporate marketing and management in the 1990s, I never lost the appreciation for watching entrepreneurs bring small businesses to life. I returned to the small business world in 2000 and purchased the family business.
I understand first-hand the challenges that a small business owner faces with limited resources, great ideas, and no free time. I am interested in helping that small business gain access to efficiencies that enable them to focus on their core services needed to thrive and succeed.
Many times we are busy working in the business instead of working on the business. I can help guide you through this process and work with you side-by-side as you clear the path of disorganization and great time management to create greater joy in your life.
